Stakeholders
Stakeholders are individuals or organizations with an interest in a healthcare facility’s success. This group comprises the government, the community, patients, vendors, and healthcare providers. Healthcare providers are accountable for keeping correct health-related information and ensuring that care is effectively coordinated, which reinforces patients’ position as stakeholders (Lübbeke et al., 2019). On the other hand, operations and finances are frequently controlled by independent groups apart from direct care delivery, allowing them to focus on improving the healthcare facility’s performance and sustainability. This division helps to preserve operational efficiency and financial stability, which contributes to the healthcare organization’s overall success (Kruk et al., 2019).
Failure to properly communicate with stakeholders can have serious consequences for a healthcare institution. Without effective communication, the company could have faced constraints in its overall effectiveness (Vermeir et al., 2019). A lack of trust between various cultural groups within the organization might develop, causing confusion and unhappiness among patients who do not have their issues addressed.
